CARIBA HEINE - AUSTRALIAN ACTRESS
Carina Heine Interview With Gabrielle Reilly

Cariba Heine, the Aussie actress that rose to fame around the world in H2O, Just Add Water, The Pacific, A Model Daughter: The Killing of Caroline Byrne and many others has a screaming fan base around the world... my daughters friends here in America went crazy when I mentioned Cariba's name.  Gorgeous, talented, and intelligent, with so much accomplished at just 22 Cariba, has such a great future.

The Global Townhall is stoked to welcome Cariba Heine in this interview with Gabrielle Reilly and our teen columnist Maddie.

Gabrielle Reilly: What are some of the most important lessons you have learnt being in the entertainment business?

Cariba Heine:  Having a strong support network around you is the most important thing. There's so many things with this line of work that impact you negatively from the rejection, to just the uncertainty of it all, having people around you that you can rely on and will be honest with you means that you can avoid a lot of the stress and pressures.

Gabrielle Reilly:  For all of our readers out there who love being in front of the video camera, do you have a tip from your experience for them?

Cariba Heine:  I think the most important thing is to be able to feel comfortable in front of a camera, because unfortunately that discomfort can never be hidden.

Gabrielle Reilly: What does your weekly fitness routine look like?

Cariba Heine:  I'm currently doing Pilates 3 times a week and hoping to pick up beach walking and swimming as summer arrives.

Gabrielle Reilly: What does your diet look like throughout the year?

Cariba Heine: It varies a lot. In winter I can't help myself with comfort food so the slow cooker gets quite a work out and in summer I crave food with lots of water content so fruits and veggies (also helps to undo the damage that winter does). I mainly try to have a big variety of food, that's about it.

Maddie: What are your favorite beauty tips?

Cariba Heine: Not fighting what nature gave you, for example, your natural hair color and texture are invariably what actually suits you the most (funny that).

And sleep!

Gabrielle Reilly:  Have personal stylists become popular for celebrities in Australia?

Cariba Heine: Maybe? I don't know. I don't personally know any Aussies who use one but they might?

Gabrielle Reilly: What are your dreams for the future?

Cariba Heine: At the moment, I just want to build up a body of work that I can be proud off, I'm only 22 so I'm not in a rush.

Maddie: What are your favorite things to do when you're not working or dancing?

Cariba Heine: The usual I think, seeing my friends and going away with them for holidays on breaks, eating out, generally relaxing and enjoying my down time.

Gabrielle Reilly: What has been your favorite career highlight?

Cariba Heine: Eek, that's a hard one. Either being able to work with a real life story on Model Daughter: The Killing Of Caroline Byrne as dealing with real life stories (especially ones that need to be treated with sensitivity) brings with it a whole different vibe to the production. Or being 100% completely overwhelmed but absolutely amazed by the scale of the Pacific.
